Run 100 and Highlights of Winter 1999

The Tinsel Hash - Pig Roast & Christmas Party

This South Shore run marks the Montreal Hash House Harriers' 100th run. This momentous event was marked by our most lavish 'apres-run' ever. Celebrating both our 100th run and the festive season, over 100 liters of Cream Ale were on tap as well as a large hind quarter of fine porcine roast, salad and a vat of mash potatoes.

Entertainment included a demonstration of Lebanese Belly-dancing, and the bi-cultural tones of Captain Canada and Roni on their respective instruments. Also featured was Yogi's illustration of South Pacific 'skin' diving, using the bar as a coral reef.

Hospitality was provided by Yogi at his South Shore home. The party lasted well into the wee hours of the night. Many a sowsed hashers spent the night and feasted on DA's lard-laden mash potatoes for breakfast.

Under-dressed but Happy Hashers celebrate Run 100 and Boxing day.
